The Wellness Center was created for all the Academy Village residents to provide a comprehensive wellness advocacy program. It is funded through Homeowners’ Association dues, and most of the services provided are free to the residents.

You may have health-related questions.  You may want to learn more about a specific medical issue.  You may need a referral for a doctor or a therapist. You never know when having a question answered, attending an informational lecture, or having a licensed medical professional available, can make all the difference. This kind of wellness support is not usually available to residents of other active adult communities.

These experienced licensed professionals, provide quality wellness and health-related services and can help residents find solutions to healthcare dilemmas. This means never having to go it alone. With these professionals to assist you, you can feel confident in managing and achieving your health and wellness goals.

In situations where extra care is necessary, these professionals can recommend a home-health provider.   Many of the decisions and worries that accompany such times can be reduced with their help.

The Fitness Director, who is an independent contractor, provides classes that support your personal goals for wellness.
